10 best photos from the 2023 Grands Prix Cyclistes de Québec et de Montréal

Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec

Photographer Nick Iwanyshyn was on assignment in Quebec City and Montreal recently to document the Grands Prix Cyclistes de Québec et de Montréal. The course through Quebec City, especially on the climbs through the old town, provided Iwanyshyn with many vantage points. In Montreal, weather was a challenge. “Truthfully, after the first two or three laps, I was ready to call it a day,” he joked after the event in Montreal. “The rain was just coming down. I continued to check the radar on my phone, but it was raining so much that I couldn’t move the map around with my finger. The day started off incredibly dark, but it turned out to be a really great day of racing.”

Here are 10 photos taken by Iwanyshyn at truly capture the action and the emotion at the only WorldTour races in North America. (Click on each image to enlarge.)
