2025 Canadian championships calendar announced

Cycling Canada has announced the complete schedule of Canadian championships to be held across the country for all disciplines in 2025.

Canadian track national championships

The Vélodrome Sylvan Adams – Centre Multisports Desjardins in Bromont, Que., will host the first-ever Canadian masters,elite and para Track Championships from Jan. 9 to 12. Junior and under-17 athletes will compete in Milton, Ont., from April 4 to 6.

Canadian esports national championships

In February, athletes from across the country will compete for the maple leaf jersey online at the Canadian e-Sports championships on the Zwift platform. The event takes place on Feb. 8 and 9.

Canadian road national championships

Junior, elite, and para athletes will showcase their skills on the roads of St-Georges-de-Beauce, Que., from June 27 to 30, organized by the Grand Prix Cycliste de Beauce. Masters athletes will compete from Aug. 15 to 17 in the Greater Victoria region, B.C., organized by the Wheelhouse Cycling Society.

Canadian gravel national championships

Presented on June 15 by Deadgoat Racing, the gravel championships return for a third year on the Ghost of the Gravel course in Alberta’s Water Valley.

Canadian MTB national championships

XCO and XCC racers will compete in Langford, B.C., at the Jordie Lunn Memorial Park from July 18 to 20, organized by the Wheelhouse Cycling Society. Downhill athletes will race in Sun Peaks, B.C., on Aug. 2-3, organized by Sun Peaks Resort and SE Racing. XCM athletes will hit the trails in Thunder Bay, Ont., on Aug. 23, organized by the Blacksheep Mountain Bike Club.

Canadian BMX national championships

St. Albert, Alta., hosts BMX athletes on Aug. 23 and 24 on the new Supercross track, organized by the St. Albert BMX Association. Later in the summer, national athletes will compete at the Canada Cup on the same track.

BMX Freestyle athletes will converge at the Centre National de Cyclisme in Bromont, Que., on Oct. 18, at the Acrobatic Zone inaugurated in March.
