The 2025 ‘cross worlds kicked off on Friday with the team relay. Great Britain, comprised of Zoe Bäckstedt, Zoe Roche, Thomas Mein, Oscar Amey, Cat Ferguson, and Milo Wills took the win in the exciting race.
Canada’s squad, consisting of Maxime St. Onge, Emilien Belzile, Rafaelle Carrier, Sidney McGill, Isabella Holmgren and Ian Ackert finshe 7. They were at one point fourth, before dropping to fifth and ultimately finishing seventh.
On Saturday, the elite women and under-23 men and women will race in Liévin, France.
