Canadian Enduro League is back five events for 2026

Canadian Enduro League is back in Revelstoke

After a year’s hiatus, the Canadian Enduro League is back. One of the longest-running enduro race series in Canada (dating back to the BC Enduro Series days), CEL is barging back into racing with five events for 2026.

This year’s calendar is mostly B.C. based, with one sojourn over the border to Cypress Hills, Alberta. This year is also the first under new owner / operator Ryder Knoll. The long-time racer takes over from founder Ted Morton, kicking off a new era for enduro in Canada.

For its grand return, CEL is hitting up classic venues and venturing into new terrain, if staying slightly closer to its B.C. base. There is, as mentioned, one trip over into Alberta for some sweet trails near Medicine Hat. But the Ontario and Quebec events of years past are on pause, at least for now.

The series starts off with a return to West Kelowna for a joint effort with the Fire in the Mountains Enduro at Smith Creek. These fast, flowy trails serve up sweet racing and this event doubles as a fundraiser for West Kelowna Fire Department Charitable society. Fast trails, good vibes and a central location seems like the perfect way to start off the season.

Next, CEL heads off to the classic Chilliwack venue, Vedder Mountain. A CEL staple for a reason, these are some of the best trails anywhere. Cypress Hills is next, for a little tour into cowboy country. Next, CEL heads to a new venue: Toby Creek. Right across the road from an old venue, but offering a completely new sampling of sweet Purcell alpine riding, Toby Creek will be a highlight of the year.

2026 CEL wraps up with burly speed at Sun Peaks outside Kamloops, B.C. Another long-standing series stop, including a stand as a championships venue, Sun Peaks always delivers exceptional racing worthy of a finale.
