Canadian junior downhill national champion Tayte Proulx-Royds has a new team. After Kona changed directions at the end of 2025, the B.C. racer is moving on to a new frame for her 2026 racing. She’ll take on this year’s World Cup aboard Polygon Bikes.
2026 will be Proulx-Royds second season racing World Cups as a junior. After a strong showing in 2025, including setting the day’s fastest women’s time when she won her ’25 junior national title, she’ll be aboard a Collosus DH for her ’26 racing.
2025 wasn’t Proulx-Royds first national title. The Kelowna-area racer has racked up maple leaf jersey’s and podiums, and not just in downhill, as she’s moved up through the age categories. On the international stage, the Canadian is already adding World Cup top-10’s to her numerous wins in North America.
