Dutch talent Shirin van Anrooij (Baloise Trek Lions) took her first elite World Cup victory with a solo win in the Dutch safari park of Beekse Bergen.
She attacked over the finish line onto the last lap and held off her two rivals by a matter of metres. Fem van Empel (Pauwels Sauzen-Bingoal), who had won the previous four World Cup rounds, sprinted to second place, ahead of Puck Pieterse (Alpecin-Deceuninck).
More to come.
