Toronto cyclist killed by motorist

Irate pedestrian attacks cyclist, breaking leg

According to Toronto police and paramedics, a collision in Etobicoke on Sunday resulted in the death of a man in his 30s.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Scarlett Road and Braeburn Avenue just before 7:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a cyclist being hit by a vehicle.

Tragically, the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver involved in the incident stayed at the location until authorities arrived. To facilitate the investigation, the intersection was temporarily closed.
