Canadian Rockies 24 returns to Canmore for sophomore year

24-hour racing is returning to the Canmore Nordic Centre this August. The Canadian Rockies 24 is rolling into its second edition, delivering a full day, and night, of endurance racing in Alberta.

2023 Canadian Rockies 24 takes place August 26-27 in Canmore, Alta.

The first edition of this new endurance epic, organized by Jasper, Alta’s Cory Wallace and co-organier Leighton Poidevin, was a huge success. That year served as the WEMBO Solo 24HR Americas Championships. Organizers clearly have their eyes trained on turning this event into a WEMBO world championships event in the future.

Whether you’re looking for a relaxed, festival atmosphere or preparing for a future run at WEMBO 24Hour worlds, the Canadian Rockies 24 has you covered. A 15-km course in the Canmore Nordic Centre offers sweet singletrack in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains for solo riders and team entries of all abilities. Camp under the stars, hang out with friends and ride your bike at this iconic Canadian venue.

Registration for the Canadian Rockies 24 is open now. Keep up to date with the event on Instagram and Facebook.
