Toronto Hustle’s Carson Miles took a fabulous win at Stage 3 of the Tour de Beauce. The 22-year-old took the day, a 169 km race from Lac-Mégantic to Mont Mégantic. After an early break was caught close to the foot of the climb, there were a flurry of attacks from the top contenders. Ultimately, it was Miles who would cross first on the incredibly difficult climb. Mégantic, a 5.3 km hill that averages 9.6 per cent, with some sections up to 15 per cent, is one of the most prestigious climbs in Canada to win.
Coming in second was Felix Bouchard (Cannondale Echelon p/b 4iiii) ahead of Luke Valenti (Team Ecoflo Chronos.)
