A Toronto cyclist was transported to hospital after being hit by a driver in the east side of Toronto on Friday night. According to Toronto police, the collision occurred at 10:30 p.m.
The cyclist was rushed to a trauma centre. The driver remained on the scene and the road was down to one lane as police conducted an investigation.
A small group of Toronto protesters blocked cyclists from riding in bike lanes
According to CityNews, the cyclist was a male and suffered serious injuries but is in stable condition.
