Victoria’s Mel Pemble defended her rainbow jersey women’s C3 omnium on Tuesday at the 2023 UCI world track championships in Glasgow. The omnium event consists of the combined results of a a 200-m flying start, a 500 m time trial, the individual pursuit, and a scratch race.
She secured the rainbow jersey after taking second in the final event, the scratch race.
