Tom Pidcock's descent on stage 12 was absolutely spectacular

The ‘cross world champion, and Olympic MTB gold medallist Tom Pidcock won iconic Alpe d’Huez climb on Bastille Day, taking a famous win in his Tour de France debut. With the victory, he is the youngest to ever win on the famous climb.

He also jumped up the standings, now sitting in eighth place in the GC.

Although his climb up the Alpe was impressive, dropping both Louis Meintjes and former TdF winner Chris Froome, his descent was a thing of beauty. Pidcock would bridge up the the breakaway on the descent, and his skills were outstanding.
