CONTEST ALERT: Win a Trek CarBack radar and light

The days are getting shorter, so we’ve partnered with Trek to make your rides a little safer this Fall. Sign up for a chance to win one of three Trek CarBack Radar and Rear Light. See the cars coming up behind you and be seen by them.

Up for grabs: 3 Trek CarBacks

The Trek CarBack is a combination rear light and radar system designed for cyclists. It alerts riders to approaching vehicles with its radar, while the integrated light increases your visibility, helping enhance safety on the road. With its compact design, it’s easy to attach to your bike and provides peace of mind during both day and night rides.

If you’ve never ridden with a radar, after using the CarBack you’ll never go back. Since the Trek CarBack bike radar and rear light notifies you of cars approaching from behind, and includes a light that’s visible during the day, it helps you stay aware of your surroundings and making you more noticeable to other vehicles. This promotes safer interactions between riders and drivers on the road.

Having a strong light is crucial when you’re riding, so that cars can see you. But with the radar, that means you see them.

When paired to your head unit, when the radar detects a vehicle, the head unit beeps and displays lights and icons to indicate the car’s approach. Once the car passes, the screen returns to its default display.

We’ve reviewed it extensively, and you can read more about it here. When we used the Trek CarBack, we experienced close to seven hours of battery life, which is quite extensive compared to similar products.

Whether you’re commuting or training, it’s a huge benefit for any cyclist.
