The Specialized Gravity Team released their roster for 2025 today and they’re definitely on an, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it trajectory.” They’re sticking with their three main stars; Loïc Bruni, Finn Iles and Jordan Williams. And why wouldn’t they?
Loïc Bruni, the reigning world cup champion and five-time UCI world champion, reamains the undisputed king of DH at the moment.
Canadian Finn Iles, with his trademark consistency and undeniable speed, continues to cement himself as one of the sport’s elite. A regular on podiums and a crowd favorite, Finn is generally about to go really fast and crash, or win. Hopefully 2025 is more on the winning side. Perhaps his new number will help?
And Jordan Williams exploded onto the scene in 2023 with a world cup win in his debut season. He’s back after recovering from a knee injury that sidelined him for much of 2024. It’ll be great to see how this season progresses for him.
Where the ladies at?
The Specialized Gravity DH Team has been a male-dominated team in the past, but it would be killer to see some of that R&D making it to the women’s elite side of the sport wouldn’t it? Specalized hints that “it’s just a matter of time,” but does that mean waiting for the junior riders to come up, or do they have someone in mind already?
So what did the Specialized Gravity Team guys choose?
- Loïc Bruni: #29
- Finn Iles: #99
- Jordan Williams: #17
