Brutally brazen theft caught on camera at bike store

On Dec. 5, at a Cyclepath in Vaughan, Ont. just north of Toronto, a brazen theft occurred. According to the employee of the store, three people came in the store and were greeted and said they didn’t need help, they were just looking.

“Then one came to ask me about a bike while the other two went up front,” the employee explained. “We had a store full of people as we were setting up for a Christmas party. That’s when the robbery happened.”

You can see as the one suspect, while watching to make sure no other employees can see, as he reaches behind the counter and steals several head units.

The thief, as his accomplice also watches, took a Garmin Edge 1040 Solar, Garmin Edge 840 Solar, Edge 540 bundle, and 530 bundle, around $2500 worth of property.

The video has been circulating, and if you recognize any of the suspects, please contact Cyclepath Woodbridge at (905) 850-4481 or York Region Police.
