Canadian Matisse Julien leads Ronde de l'Oise

After two stages, Team Ecoflo Chronos rider Matisse Julien is leading the GC at the Ronde de l’Oise in France. Julien won the first stage, a 145.9-km race from Beauvais to Clermont. He defended his overall lead in the 2.2 race on Friday, finishing safely in the bunch during the 181-km second stage from Breteuil to Margny-lès-Compiègne. Team Ecoflo Chronos is the Canadian Continental u-23 team formerly known as Premier Tech.

There are two stages remaining. Stage 3 is from Andeville to Le Plessis-Belleville for a total of 189.9 km, and Stage 4 is 158.9 km from Breuil-le-Sec to Liancourt. This is the 68th edition of the race, which has been won by many notable riders, including Tour de France stage winner Magnus Cort in 2014.
