Eliott Lapotre’s latest film, Lost Paradise 3, inolved over a year of planning, building. and filming. It was finally completed in late 2024.

“This has been a long journey,” Eliott reflects. “We started back in April 2023, and it’s been a mission ever since. But I’ve grown to love the entire process—the challenges, the creativity and the camaraderie that comes with it.”

The Lost Paradise series is more than just a showcase of big jumps and technical lines. For the third installment, Eliott aimed to capture the essence of the North Shore style that first drew him into the sport. The same style of building the proliferated throughout the country back in the 2000s.

“Building those features was no small task,” he admits. “But riding them? Unreal. It brought back the same excitement I felt when I first got hooked on freeriding.”

As with any ambitious project, Lost Paradise 3 wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Eliott’s friends. Their unwavering support and shared enthusiasm kept the vision alive, even when the challenges seemed insurmountable. “They know who they are,” Eliott says with gratitude. “This project is as much theirs as it is mine.”

The result is a film that blends heart-stopping lines and the spirit of a community that lives for the ride. Eliott hopes viewers feel the same spark that has fueled his journey.

“I hope it inspires you to ride, dig, and have fun,” he says. “That’s what it’s all about.”
