Equipo Kern Pharma earns its 2024 Vuelta wildcard with third stage win

Canada's Nick Zukowsky jumps into first 2023 Tour de Suisse breakaway, nabs KOM jersey

As the 79th Vuelta a España galloped towards Sunday’s finish, it veered into the Basque Country on Thursday for another breakaway feast. One Spaniard had a glorious day, Equipo Kern Pharma’s Urko Berrade victorious from yet another successful breakaway. Another, Mikel Landa, had a bad day, his podium chances scuppered. ProTeam Equipo Kern Pharma earned its 2024 Vuelta wildcard with a third stage win, Pablo Castrillo having taken two himself.
