In the shadow of the Tour de France we get the first women’s Giro run by RCS which means both the men’s and women’s Giro are under the same umbrella. There’s no shortage of question marks when it comes to how well this will work out but the eight stages look incredibly promising, a really hard test in the true spirit of the Giro d’Italia. Let’s hope this marks another step up for women’s racing.
