Elite: Smith and Clark show speed in Dieppe

Smith put 58 seconds into second place finisher Juliette Tétreault (CC de l’Academie). McKenzie Myatt (Cyclesmith) rolled in for third, a good sign that the Nova Scotia racer is looking forward to racing XCO nationals on home turf this weekend in Kentville.

Owen Clark (Hockly Valley Resort Armada) outsprinted Andrew L’Esperance (Maxxis Factory Racing) at the line to win in Dieppe. Reigning national champion Peter Disera followed three seconds later in a very close men’s XCO finish.
