Jonas Vingegaard crowned Tour de France champion in Paris

Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma) sailed through the final stage of the 2023 Tour de France to be crowned overall champion for the second year in a row.

Tadej Pogačar tried to attack in the final 40 kilometres but his team shut down the cheeky move. As rain started to fall on the Champs Elysees, officials called the time gaps for the GC with one lap to go for safety.
