Maggie Coles-Lyster shines in first race of Euro season

Human Powered Health’s Maggie Coles-Lyster is starting 2025 off right, with a third place at the 2nd Trofeo Marratxi-Felanitx in Spain. The 129.1km one-day race was won by Finland’s Lotta Henttala (EF Education-Oatly), with Chiara Consonni (CANYON//SRAM ZondaCrypto) slotting in second.

Maggie Coles-Lyster signed with WorldTeam HPH in August 2024, moving on from Swiss team Roland. The Maple Ridge, B.C., rider had a few tumultuous years team-wise, after two teams she was on had financial difficulties—the Spanish ZAAF team and the doomed B&B Hotels squad.

With a strong team behind her, the 25-year-old pro should be getting plenty of solid results this season.
