Alberto Bettiol (EF Education-EasyPost) scored an emphatic victory in Milano-Torino, powering away from a reduced peloton on the second to last climb of the race.
The Italian only had a few seconds in hand as he approached the final kilometre but held off a furtive chase to take the win over Jan Christen and Marc Hirschi (UAE Team Emirates).
