Nathan Clement and Shelley Gautier both took bronze on Friday in the T1 road race at the 2023 UCI cycling world championships in Glasgow.
In the men’s category, West Van’s Clement took third in the 31.2km road race with Chinas Rongfei Lu taking the win.

In the women’s race, Shelley Gautier of Niagara Falls, Ont., took third behind winner Czech Pavlina Vejvodova. That is Gautier’s second bronze of the worlds.
