Cycling is well underway at the 2024 Paris Olympics! So far, we’ve seen some terrific action on the road with the time trials and on the dirt in mountain biking.
The TT was run in wet and slippery conditions, with Belgian Remco Evenepoel taking a superb win over Filippo Ganna, with fellow Belgian Wout van Aert in third.
In the women’s event, Grace Brown won over Anna Henderson and Chloe Dygert.
Wet conditions make for two interesting Olympic individual time trial events
In the XC events, Tom Pidcock took a dramatic win over Victor Koretzky, with Alan Hatherly coming in third. In the women’s race, Pauline Ferrand-Prévot took a dominant win over Haley Batten, with Jenny Rissveds in third.
