Post-Tour, Pre-Olympic Live Races – Podium Cafe

Hey look who’s here! The Tour is done and dusted and so its Txirla time! What ya got you old clam?

We got a handful of FSA-DS cat 5 races in the space between the Tour and Olympics for your pleasure

1. Ethias Tour of Wallonie started yesterday in southern Belgium and wanders over to the Ardennes over the next few days
2. The Vuelta a Castilla y Leon, the former stage race that seems to be trsitioning into a one day San Seb prep race is also today.
3. In a couple of days we get San Seb prep race #2 aka the Prueba Villafranca-Ordiziako Klasika.
4. Also starting on the 25th is the thankfully short-titled Czech Tour which lasts until tehr day after the Olympic time trials.

There are a couple of other races to note: the Tour of Alsace is being televised if you are into that sort of thing and the Volta a Portugal featuring Caja Rural and lesser teams starts tomorrow. I don’t know if that is televised.
