World Cup downhill racing, and the legions of fanatical French fans, returned to Les Gets on Saturday for not one, but two rounds of elite racing. First semi-finals then, just hours later, racers were back up at the top for finals racing action.
French fans were rewarded for their efforts with Marine Cabirou and Benoit Coulanges claiming victories at home. It was a good day for Canada, too, with Jackson Goldstone stepping on the podium again and keeping his overall title hopes alive.
