Kate Courtney, a name synonymous with excellence in mountain biking, is racing for her very own program, She Sends Racing in 2025. The 2018 elite XCO world champion and 2019 world cup overall champion has spent a career making history, and now, she’s writing a new chapter—one that combines her relentless pursuit of high performance with a deep passion for inspiring women and girls to dream big and, “send it.”
“When I line up for the first world cup this season, my foundation’s name will be across my jersey. And its mission will be at the heart of everything I do,” Kate shared.
Building a dream
“I want to look back on my career and know that I gave absolutely everything to win at the highest level,” Kate said. “But I also want to know that I did it in a way that inspired more women and girls to dream big, take risks and send it.”
Kate’s vision for She Sends Racing is to combine elite competition with a purpose-driven mission. It’s a program that reflects her commitment to fostering representation, equity and empowerment in cycling while continuing to push what she can achieve as an athlete.
Racing with purpose
At the heart of She Sends Racing is a mission to get more girls on bikes and to support the next generation of riders. Kate has carefully partnered with sponsors who share her values and are committed to growing the sport in meaningful ways.
“Over the coming days, I’ll be introducing my sponsors one by one,” Kate teased. “They’re mission-driven brands with incredible people behind them. They’ve bet on me—and on the value of empowering girls and women in cycling.”
While Kate hasn’t revealed all her sponsors just yet, the buzz is building.
