Simone Boilard 7th at Alpes Gresivaudan classic

Canada’s Simone Boilard took an impressive 7th at the tough Alpes Gresivaudan classic on Sunday, a week after her equally strong ride at the RideLondon Classique. Boilard finished 6th and 10th on the second and third stage, respectively, and 13th overall.

Boilard continued to show good form in France, where she was in the mix in the 127.8 km hilly event. Evita Muzic (Fdj-Suez) won the 1.2 race over Urška Pintar (BTC City Ljubljana Scott) and Morgane Coston
(Cofidis).

The race completely exploded on the final climb with riders arriving in ones and twos. Emilie Fortin (Cynisca Cycling) also had a good day, finishing 14th.
