Squamish enduro 2025: a decade of racing, progression and community

The Squamish Enduro is back for 2025, marking its 10th anniversary. What started as a grassroots event, now draws riders from weekend warriors to world cup pros.

Three distinct courses have been strategically designed to challenge riders of all levels. Whether you’re new to enduro racing, looking to push your limits, or aiming to compete against the fastest riders in the game, there’s a race for you.

Registration opens February 2nd, at 9 a.m. PST

The 2025 courses

Classics course: for flow seekers and first-time racers
Introduced in 2024 and quickly becoming a rider favorite. The Classics course is designed for those looking for a fast, flowy and fun experience. It’s an ideal entry point into enduro racing, packed with Squamish’s signature blue-rated trails that keep things exciting without being overwhelming.

• Three stages, mostly blue flow with some dark blue tech
• 25 km total distance
• 750 m climbing
• 400 m descending in stage
Stage 1: Full Nelson – Half Nelson
Stage 2: Another Man’s Gold
Stage 3: Hoods in the Woods

Short course: a faster, tougher challenge

If you’re looking for something with more technical terrain and a step up in difficulty, the short course is a black-diamond-heavy race that brings together fast, technical trails for an exciting challenge.

• 4 Stages, a mix of blue and black
• 35 km total distance
• 1,250 m climbing
• 800 m descending in stage
• Course details to be released two weeks before race day.

Full course: the ultimate Squamish enduro test

This is the big one. If you want to race head-to-head with the best, test your endurance and experience some of Squamish’s most demanding terrain, this is where you sign up. The full course is fast, physical and features some of the most iconic trails in the region.

• 5 stages, primarily black, with some double black.
• 45 km total distance
• 1,800 m climbing
• 1,400 m descending in stage
• Course details released two days before race day.

Defending champions Jesse Melamed and Emmy Lan are returning, so the competition should be good.

Tenth anniversary celebrations

This year marks a decade of the Squamish enduro, and the organizers are going all out. Expect a few surprises on race day. Here’s what’s confirmed: the Howe Sound Brewing Speed Zone, the Ride Wrap Waffle Station & Race, Norco High Pivots and Hot Dogs and the Tantalus Bike Shop Spiciest Line Fan Zone.
