Laurens Sweeck (Crelan-Fristads) claimed the first elite World Cup victory of his career, soloing away midway through the nine-lap race to finally unseat World Cup leader Eli Iserbyt (Bingoal Pauwels Sauces), winner of the first three rounds.
European champion Lars van der Haar (Baloise Trek) distanced Iserbyt to finish as the runner-up, with the Belgian holding on for the final podium spot.
More to come.
