The highly anticipated 2025 Island Cup series schedule has been officially unveiled after months of planning and preparation. Organizers have been hard at work throughout the winter to finalize the details, and while schedules are always subject to change, they are confident in how the upcoming season will unfold.
This year’s series promises something for everyone, whether riders prefer the endurance of cross-country or the adrenaline of enduro. From the fast-paced trails of Hammerfest to the technical challenges of Mt. Tzouhalem and the fan-favourite Hartland Classic, the season is set to deliver unforgettable experiences for participants and spectators alike.
2025 cross-country schedule
March 30: Island Cup XC #1 – Jordie Lunn Bike Park (basically a preview for 2025 XC nationals at the same venue)
April 6: Island Cup XC #2 – Campbell River
April 12: Island Cup XC #3 – Cumberland
April 27: Island Cup XC #4 – Cobble Hill Classic
May 25: Island Cup XC #5 – Hammerfest
June 22: Island Cup XC #6 – Hartland Classic
2025 enduro schedule
April 20: Island Cup Enduro #1 – Mt. Tzouhalem, Duncan
May 4: Island Cup Enduro #2 – Hammerfest, Errington
June 8: Island Cup Enduro #3 – Forbidden, Courtenay
June 29: Island Cup Enduro #4 – Gnarnaimo, Mt. Benson, Nanaimo
July 13: Island Cup Enduro #5 – Mt. Mahony, Powell River
August 10: Island Cup Enduro #6 – Hartland, Victoria (finals)
What if your favorite race isn’t on the schedule?
While not all fan-favourite races made the 2025 schedule, organizers encourage riders to stay optimistic. Many events that aren’t part of this year’s lineup are likely to return in 2026. The goal is to keep the series fresh, diverse and exciting for everyone involved.
Registration information
XC events: registration opens on March 1st at 8:00am.
Enduro events: registration opens exactly one month prior to each event date at 8:00am. For example, registration for the Mt. Tzouhalem enduro will open on March 20th.
The 2025 season will use CCN for all XC and enduro registrations. This change should streamline the process. Details on how and where to register will be shared via email at the end of February, and updates will also be available on the Island Cup series website and Instagram page.
