Join Rose Manley and Denny Gray as their European road-trip aka the Tour de France Femmes continues into Belgium.
In typical Belgian style stage 4 offered punchy hills, aggressive racing and pouring rain on a parcours that combined climbs from two Ardennes Classics – the Amstel Gold Race and Liege-Bastogne-Liege. With plenty of Classics specialists among the GC contenders the stage certainly offered much to talk about.
Plus, Denny’s adventures in fromage continued and so did the ongoing all-important debate over whether Belgium should be classed as a “cheese country”.
