Netflix’s documentary series, “Tour de France: Unchained,” will stream June 8, and there’s one last trailer to get you hooked. The eight-episode journey is a behind-the-scenes look at the 2023 Tour de France, which featured Jonas Vingegaard of Jumbo-Visma and Tadej Pogačar of UAE Team Emirates squaring off in a spectacular race.
“Tour de France: Unchained” is an exploration into every facet of the iconic race. From the riders to the team managers, the doc aims to unravel the inner workings of one of the most famous competitions in the world. With an in-depth perspective, the series promises to provide a new understanding of the Tour de France, shedding light on its significance and impact on the international stage. The series was created by the same producers that created the highly successful series about Formula 1 racing, “Drive to Survive.”

There’s plenty of interviews and insider takes from the riders and staff from eight teams, including Groupama-FDJ, Ineos Grenadiers, Bora-Hansgrohe Groupama-FDJ, EF Education-EasyPost, Alpecin-Deceuninck, and AG2R Citroën. Unfortunately, Pogačar’s squad opted not to be in the show, but there’s undoubtedly plenty of content from the other teams.

The last trailer seems pretty great. Showing the drama of what happens both on and off the road, the clip features several interviews and voiceovers from Chris Froome, Wout van Aert, Patrick Lefevere and Yves Lampaert, among others. The show is just in time to wet your taste buds for the upcoming edition of the Tour de France, which begins July 1 and runs to July 23.

Check out the final trailer below.
