Tour de Suisse Women Stages 1 and 2: Marlen Reusser leads, Olivia Baril 12th

After two stages, Marlen Reusser (Team SD Worx) is nine seconds ahead of her teammate Demi Vollering, and 18 in front of Elisa Longo Borghini (Trek-Segafredo) at the Tour de Suisse. Canada’s Olivia Baril is sitting in 12th, a little over two minutes down. Team SD Worx has been dominating the stage race, Blanka Vas taking the first stage, and Reusser winning Stage 2, a 25.7 km TT.

Stage 3 is a lumpy 120.8-km race from St. Gallen to Ebnat-Kappel. The final day of racing is a tough 100.8 km stage in Ebnat-Kappel, with plenty of climbs. Look to Baril to make some moves and try and move up in the overall classification. The other Canadian in the race is Clara Emond (Arkéa Pro Cycling Team) who sits in 45th.
