The Tour of Scandinavia wrapped up with a dramatic fifth stage which saw Dane Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig come within seconds of taking the GC away from Annemiek Van Vleuten. Olivia Baril finished eighth overall, with Maggie Coles-Lyster taking third in the points competition.

The 144.0 km race was on Uttrup Ludwig’s home turf, going from Middelfart to Haderslev, In Denmark. The former national champion took a solo win, putting five seconds into Van Vleuten. With the time bonuses, she would finish just two seconds behind the Dutch rider.
