Tristan Lemire will be on the sidelines for his first elite World Cup downhill. The young Canadian crashed in practice in Lenzerheide on Thursday, injuring his hand.
The timing is rough for the speedy Quebec racer. Lemire just signed with the new Transition Factory Racing squad. He also was just getting back into racing after a broken wrist at Mont-Sainte-Anne World Cup late in 2022.
Lemire isn’t the only rider to be taken out by the Lenzerheide course. The list of high-profile injured riders already includes Aaron Gwin and Luke Meier-Smith.
