Jumbo Visma’s Sepp Kuss moved into the maillot rojo of the overall leader, the first American to lead a grand tour in ten years, as his teammate Primoz Roglic took the sprint win in stage 8 of the Vuelta a España in Xorret de Cati. Kuss had been 8 seconds off the lead of Lenny Martinez of FDJ before today, with the bigs closer to three minutes back. Martinez conceded over a minute on the final climb, opening the door for Kuss.
