Rachel Atherton rolled out of a World Cup start hut for her first timed run since 2019 on Friday. The multiple-time World Cup and world champion rode qualifications in Lenzerheide, finishing seventh.
While it’s not the kind of result she left off at (yet…) it huge considering she’s been away for three full seasons at this point. Not to mention returning from a serious injury and the birth of her first child.
It’s also not the run that matters. No that Atherton’s through to finals, it will be interesting to see what she does on course in Lenzerheide on Saturday. Watch it all, live, on Red Bull TV.
