The first DH event of the year is coming up fast. The world’s toughest downhill MTB race is coming back to Tasmania—and if 2024 was wild, just wait until you see what’s in store for 2025.
Once again, Maydena Bike Park will play host to the most progressive and fearless riders in the game, all going head-to-head on a course designed to push them (and their bikes) to the limit. The Tasmanian terrain, with its dense forests and rugged mountains, sets the perfect stage for next-level chaos.
What to expect in 2025
- An even longer, steeper track—because why not make it harder?
- Supercross-style features that will test bike handling at high speeds.
- A new rock garden designed to shake riders to their core.
- Even bigger jumps—because apparently, last year’s weren’t terrifying enough.
How to watch
Easier than watching anything UCI, Harline is airing live on YouTube and won’t cost you a penny.
Looking back: Hardline 2024
The Tasmanian event in 2024 made history with Gracey Hemstreet (CAN) and Louise-Anna Ferguson (GBR) becoming the first-ever female riders to compete in a Red Bull Hardline final. Hemstreet called it “the most insane experience,” and is already fired up to return in 2025.
From Jackson Goldstone sending it in practice to Brook Macdonald’s ridiculous POV run, last year set a high bar for carnage and progression. If you missed it, you can still catch the full replay of Red Bull Hardline Tasmania 2024 on Red Bull TV.
