One of the biggest bands in the world is getting back together—but will Liam Gallagher and his brother Noel be riding to the venues? After a 15-year feud, the Gallagher brothers will reunite for a UK tour in summer 2025, featuring 14 shows.

“There has been no great revelatory moment that has ignited the reunion—just the gradual realization that the time is right,” a press release read. “Yet the timing must be a subconscious influence. This Thursday represents 30 years to the day since their electrifying debut album Definitely Maybe was released, while 2025 will see the equally essential second record (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? reach that same anniversary.”

“The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” the brothers posted on X.

Cycling to live forever?

Liam, it turns out, is a big fan of getting out on his bike for exercise. Back in 2020, the 51-year-old musician revealed that arthritis had forced him to stop running to avoid permanent knee damage. And despite the rock-and-roll lifestyle, some cardio is good for musicians. According to the American Heart Association, cardio exercises boost stamina, energy, and lung capacity, which are crucial for musicians who need endurance and better breathing control during performances.

Liam Gallagher has tweeted about his love of two wheels over the years. Back in 2018, he even posted a cheeky message to none other than a former Tour de France champion while riding his bike on holiday: “Bradley Wiggins, eat your heart out!”

During the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the musician became a huge BMX fan. “BMX racing at the Olympics is blowing my mind,” he posted. This was after Brits Bethany Shriever and Kye Whyte took gold and silver at the Games. Gallagher called Shriever a legend and expressed huge respect for BMX riders.

Thankfully, he’s come a long way from his earlier days as a 24-year-old when he wasn’t exactly a fan of cyclists. Back in 1997, Liam, reportedly drunk, screamed abuse at a 33-year-old cyclist and smashed his Ray-Ban sunglasses after the man accused Gallagher’s Mercedes of cutting him off. Gallagher, a passenger in the car, grabbed the cyclist by his shirt and dragged him…
