Zoe Backstedt added a Under 23 cyclocross world title to her incredible palmares with a dominant ride in Tabor.
19-year-old Backstedt fought for a place up front after the sprint from the line and then surged after Marie Schreiber.
They soon pulled away from the rest of the pack and seemed set for a race-long battle. However Schreiber suddenly disappeared from view and slipped down to fourth after an apparent spill in the mud.
Backstedt never looked back and opened a gap of a minute, allowing her to control her ride in the third and fourth laps.
Leonie Bentveld of the Netherlands battled with Kristýna Zemanova of the Czech Republic, with the local rider eventually going clear to take the silver medal.
