The 2026 Canadian esports cycling championships are back! On Saturday, riders from across the country for a one-day, nationally sanctioned Zwift showdown. From under-17 to Masters, athletes will race for national titles and the virtual maple leaf jersey while duking it out on trainers in their basements.
Some familiar faces will be back at the front of the..erm, pack.
Three-time men’s champion Thomas Thrall is gunning for a fourth straight win, while defending elite women’s champion Tiffany Penner returns to protect her crown after a dominant 2025.
Plus, winners get the coveted maple leaf jersey that they can, uh, wear…on their trainer.
And guess what? You can watch the races too. Preferably as you too are riding your trainer to be meta.
