Adolf Silva is already back riding, with the help of a bike from Calgary

After his frightening crash at 2025 Red Bull Rampage, Adolf Silva continues passing milestones his impressive and inspiring recovery. Silva’s already back on a bike, hitting 4 Riders Bike Park outside Barcelona with the help of a bike from Calgary’s Bowhead Corp.

Silva’s not back on two wheels just yet, but Bowhead’s Reach aMTB did get the iconic freerider back out on the trails.

The Calgary-based adaptive bike specialists make several different aMTB’s for different purposes. They range from the adaptive-DH capable Reach model Silva tried to e-assisted hand cranks and more specific models. All models can be significantly customized to suit their rider’s specific needs. While not the only high-performance aMTB out there, Bowhead’s full suspension design with articulating front end has been a breakthrough in adaptive bike design and capability.

Silva is documenting and sharing his recovery process as he goes. The Still Loco series is already up to 12 episodes, all on his YouTube channel.

If you want to help support Silva’s recovery, his Ride 2 Recovery page is still open.
