With some semblance of GC hierarchy established after the opening prologue, this hilly stage around Tanunda is unlikely to provoke many skirmishes between the race’s frontrunners. That said, with over 1,800m of climbing on the stage, there are ample opportunities for any adventurous riders to try to prevent a bunch sprint.
