Gracey Hemstreet and snowboarder Seb Toots

The Sunshine Coast’s Gracey Hemstreet made the trek out to Quebec to film with legendary snowboarder Seb Toots recently. The result? A video showcasing Hemstreet’s ability, along with the creativity that is Seb Toots. While the resulting video is more a commercial for Today’s Parks than anything, it’s worth checking out. Skip to 16:40 if you just want to see the riding.

Seb Toots

At this point, Seb Toutant is a pillar of the Canadian snowboard world. The 2018 Olympic gold medalist has also won mutliple events at the X Games. In 2022 he didn’t qualify for the finals in the Olympics. These days Toutant (or Toots as everyone knows him) continues to work with Red Bull to make incredible videos and, as far as we can tell, have the best time ever.

Gracey Hemstreet

Hemstreet grew up steeped in mountain biking culture, her father being one of the founders of Coast Gravity Park. She spent her early years chasing legendary riders like Curtis Robinson, Dylan Dunkerton, Brendan Howey and Brandon Semenuk over massive jumps. .

Coming off an incredible season of DH, where Hemstreet managed to get a second place finish in Mont Sainte Anne, Hemstreet is poised to be the next big thing in Canadian DH. She also was the first woman to complete a lap of the Red Bull Hardline course in 2024. She’s riding for Norco, with heavy hitter Greg Minnar as a coach. Hemstreet is definitely one to watch in 2025 and beyond.

Being involved in projects like this Split Line video is the perfect off-season experience for Hemstreet. And we loved watching it.

Today’s Parks

The video is very much an ode to Today’s Parks; a design and creation company with over 14 years of experience specializing in snowparks. They don’t just build parks—they craft unique, tailored experiences that help resorts stand out. At its core, Today’s Parks is about innovation, safety and creating unique courses. This Split Line course is exactly that.
