Knolly is launching its Cache Titanium gravel bike into the future, whatever that future may hold. The B.C. boutique brand revealed the second generation of its high-end gravel rig with updates to tire clearance, drivetrain compatibility and bikepacking capability.
The Cache Ti already leaned heavily towards the adventure side of gravel riding. That continues with the updated version. Knolly designs the frame around suspension fork, though it does also offer rigid carbon options among its build kits. Making the frame suspension corrected ensures the Cache Ti is as balanced and efficient climbing and rambling along fully loaded on long winding backroads as it is pushing the limits of gravel on the occasional trail side quest.
Clearance for days
To cover that range of uses, and keep it up to the ever-expanding standards for gravel rubber Knolly updates tire clearance to fit some hefty treads. There’s room for 700c x 55 mm tires out back (29″ x 2.1″) and, up front, 60 mm / 2.3″ rubber.
To make bikepacking adventures easier, the Cache Ti now comes with a suite of mounts for racks, fenders, bags and bottles. keep it light for local shreds or load the Cache up for big, multi-day (week?) missions.

Future proof for gravel
Knolly builds the Cache Ti to last, with a high-end and highly engineered titanium tube set. To make sure this boutique frame will work with any drivetrain well into the future, the Cache Ti is now compatible with UDH and Full Mount drivetrains. The B.C. brand includes its own CNC-machined hanger with the frame, so this polished beauty will work with SRAM, Shimano and, as Knolly puts it, “Whatever the drivetrain world throws at us next.”
Embracing drivetrain creativity, Knolly offers several builds with a combination of Shimano’s recently released GRX and XTR Di2 systems. That allows for shifting from drop bar levers with the compact XTR 9-42 cassette that we here at Canadian Cycling Magazine quite like and think suits gravel riding quite well.

Knolly offers the Cache in seven sizes and five build kits. There are also frame and fork options if you want to build up your dream gravel rig in some other way. All the details of this bike are on Knollybikes.com now, where you might soon see other gravel updates and new arrivals from the long-running B.C….
