Marine Cabirou joins Canyon CLLCTV DH

After annoncing the addition of Jenny Rissveds to the XC team, the Canyon CLLCTV Factory Team adds French  powerhouse Marine Cabirou to the DH side of the squad. With her world cup-winning pedigree Marine brings a whole lot of speed to Canyon.

From junior champ to world cup star

Hailing from Millau, France, Marine Cabirou has spent years tearing up some of Europe’s most legendary trails. Her rise began with a junior world championship title in 2015. Since then she’s cemented herself as one of the fastest and most fearless downhill racers in the game.

Marine’s career highlights are nothing short of epic. World cup victories at iconic venues like Val di Sole, Snowshoe, Maribor and Mont-Sainte-Anne, plus a string of UCI podiums and French national championship wins. She placed second overall in 2024 behind Valentina Holl. She was at the top of the podium at two of the seven stops of the UCI world tour in 2024. So she’s a serious contender.

“Marine’s got it all—blazing speed, pure grit and a fearless approach to racing,” says Fabien Barel, Canyon CLLCTV’s team mentor.

Big goals for 2025

Marine is rolling into the new season with major momentum. After clinching two world cup victories in 2024—including a win at the final round in Mont-Sainte-Anne—she’s hungry for more. “The Canyon setup, the team vibe and the proto Sender—it’s all next-level,” Marine says. “I’m ready to push harder than ever and make 2025 unforgettable. Let’s go!”

And she’s joining a stacked team. Canyon’s Troy Brosnan and Luca Shaw closed 2024 in style, with Brosnan pulling off a storybook win at Mont-Sainte-Anne. The Canyon CLLCTV is poised for even more podium dominance with Marine in the mix.

Gear and grit

The Canyon CLLCTV Factory Team is equipped with support from SRAM, RockShox, Troy Lee Designs and partners like DT Swiss, Maxxis and Crankbrothers.

The first World Cup race of 2025 kicks off in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.
