Paris-Tours is fast becoming a modern cycling classic. Starting in Chartres and ending 213.5km later on the Avenue de Grammont in Tours, this race is characterised by the gravel ‘chemins de vigne’ which traverse the vineyards of the Loire Valley. There are a total of 10km of these narrow gravel tracks, all within the last quarter of the race, making for a thrilling finale.
