Semenuk goes camping and casually blows minds

When Brandon Semenuk uploads a video, you stop what you’re doing. His latest edit, Happy Campers, is short and sweet and isn’t as mind-blowing as some of his previous videos, but it gets the vibe across; a bunch of friends in the wilderness, riding bikes and eating beans. Good times.

Off-grid and all in

The premise is simple.

“A few friends headed way off-grid in search of new descents. No service. No amenities. Just long, dusty days. Cold nights thick with campfire smoke. And the occasional can of beans for fuel.”

This isn’t polished bike park riding or perfectly manicured lines. It’s raw terrain, loose dirt and the kind of setting where everything has to be earned. Along with Ryan Howard, Semenuk makes every line look polished.

Riding that doesn’t make sense

Semenuk rides like we all wish we could ride. There’s a simplicity to everything he does. A level of control that makes impossible features look casual.

It’s not just technical. It’s creative.

And it’s consistent in a way that almost doesn’t make sense anymore.

The best shuttle in the game

Then there’s the shuttle. Because of course there is.

Somewhere between the dust, the remoteness and the campfire scenes, you realize the crew isn’t just grinding out laps the hard way. They’ve basically got a rally car in the mix, hauling bikes and setting the tone for the whole trip. The Polaris Draco UTV is no doubt modified in every good way possible.

How good would it be to have a rally driver piloting your shuttle rig? Not a clapped-out pickup. Not a slow grind up a logging road.

A fully dialled, super dope side-by-side ripping you back to the top.

Short, sharp and already on repeat

The only real complaint? It isn’t long enough.

But it feels like that’s always been part of Semenuk’s formula. Leave people wanting more.
